Annotated Bibliography ENG 112
Through the Research Report, you have gained some in-depth knowledge about the writing done in your
potential career field. While working on your Research Report and gaining new insight, many of you have
expressed excitement about your potential career because you like what that new perspective has shown you.
The remaining assignments, though more focused, will build on each other and allow you to gain yet another
perspective in relation to your field of interest.
Your final product at the end of this semester will be to write an essay according to this prompt: What is a
current hot topic issue or breakthrough idea in your field of study? (See “Essay Guidelines” posted in Week
Seven for the complete assignment. It is to your benefit to become familiar with those guidelines before
beginning this assignment.) There are a few steps to take to prepare you for that essay, and this first step is an
Annotated Bibliography.
