The IA needs to be HL level, consist of an experiment, and write up which is about 8 to 12 pages long. The experiment I can do at school but I preferably have it when it’s designed by you so I can make the experiment and get the values for it. The experiment can also be online using simulations. The data from the experiments don’t have to be real as long as I can redo them in the lab at school. The report also needs to include some diagrams and tables with the data. In the attachments, I included the official IB guide to the IA with the requirements and rubric, and also an IB Academy revision booklet so that the whole syllabus is available.
