non-white psychologists is behind the pace but is slowly growing.
Psychology 101 textbooks however are focused mainly on the history of
Psychology and therefore are filled with information about white, male
researchers. This ignores the vast contributions made by others to the field of
Psychology.
Your assignment is to write a research paper on any of those “other”
researchers. That is, choose a minority and/or a female Psychologist,
research that person’s life (briefly) and work (more in-depth), and
summarize it for me in a paper of at least 1300 words.
